NEW WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCT
8-15-24 Update:
Many clinics recently received a cease and desist letter from Eli Lilly’s law firm. In this letter, Lilly told clinics that they “could no longer promote or sell compounded tirzepatide.” Unsurprisingly, this comes in the wake of recent news of Eli Lilly self-announcing that they think tirzepatide will “come off shortage very soon.”
The tirzepatide shortage status, as listed on the FDA’s own website, is still not marked “Resolved.” Any designation as “available” for a particular dosage strength does not carry any weight under FDA guidance if the overall designation remains “Currently in Shortage.”
We will continue prescribing compounded tirzepatide as usual. Strive makes an incredibly safe and efficacious alternative to the brand name product, which can also include added ingredients to mitigate side effects and offers custom-tailored dosing that’s ideal for each individual patient.
4-2-24 Update:
Strive Pharmacy now offers Tirzepatide with Glycine. Glycine increases adiponectin levels, a chemical that controls satiety and fat metabolism. This may lead to weight reduction in people who are obese or overweight. Glycine is an amino acid with many helpful benefits including:
- Increased collagen production
- Enhanced muscle retention and growth
- Improved digestion
- Better sleep
- Stronger immune system
Glycine stimulates production of seratonin and serves as the key component of collagen, a protein that gives structure to bones, skin, muscles, and connective tissues.
10-25-23 Update:
